Brunch with Friends
As you head out the door, you’re greeted by our friendly housekeeping staff, already at work making sure everything is just right. You stroll to the Café & Bar to meet some friends you made at the most recent guest lecture in North Bay’s Performance Theater.
The staff greets you by name and already knows your favorite coffee order. You settle in with a warm blueberry muffin — your personal weakness. You and your friends continue a lively discussion sparked by the lecture, pausing only to greet neighbors passing by.
Making the Most of the Afternoon
After brunch, you return to your residence to change before heading down to the community Makerspace. You’ve recently rediscovered your passion for painting and want to put in more work before an upcoming resident art show.
Of course, you get a sneak peek every time you’re down there — seeing all the different projects in progress often leaves you in awe of your neighbors’ talent. They’re always happy to share tips on technique and form, helping you find your rhythm again and even surpass where you were decades ago before you put your brushes away to focus on work and family.
Enjoying Another Relaxing Evening
Once you’re satisfied with your progress, you realize the day has flown by and it’s time to head to the Mayflower Restaurant for another Instagram-worthy dinner with friends from the Makerspace.
It’s been a day full of learning, laughter, good food, and wonderful new memories.
And tomorrow? Another day filled with possibility. Maybe you’ll try a movement class in the Fitness Center or join the group visiting the new modern art exhibit at the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art. Who knows? And you still need to check out that sculpture exhibit.
